Introduction:
For the UX group project me and my group had to redesign Belco Alliance Website. The goal was to make the website more visually appealing, user-friendly and functional while still taking in consideration our clients’ choices and opinions.
Competitor Analysis:
During the research phase, I had the responsibility to do the competitor analysis. point of me writing this analysis was so we can clearly see what we need to do to improve Belco Alkiance website. The best way to do that is through searching for other bigger and well-known platforms which have the same purpose as Belco. I looked through their website to see what are the most important features they offer and compared both design and content with Belco’s to see where it lacked. Then In the analysis I described what are the key differences between our clients website and the other ones. This process gave me and my team clear direction on where to focus during the process.

Interview with student:
To get insights from the user perspective, I took the initiative to find a student that fit our target audience and conduct interview with him. After finding a suitable person, I organized the meeting, explained the purpose of the interview and how his input could help my team and I improve our work and then conducted it. The interview allowed me to collect detailed and relevant feedback that helped us better understand user expectations, opinion, and potential problems that we can run on. The insights gathered played an important role in shaping our design choices moving forward.
Prototyping:
After completing our research, we moved on to prototyping. We divided the design work among the team, and I was in charge of redesigning the "Exchange Modules" page. I ensured that the page matched the overall visual identity we established as a team, including consistent color palettes, fonts, layout styles and elements. I also focused on improved the original design of the “Exchange Modules” page from Belco’s websites, by adding a working and functional navigation bar.

Client Presentation:
After making the first version of the prototype, we had to present to our final the clients what we have so far. I created and presented the “What’s Next” page, which outlined future steps for the project. I also presented the overall design direction to the client—this included our choice of colors, typography, and the visual inspirations behind our work-like the websites we got inspired from.
Online Contribution:
Although I wasn’t able to attend the final presentation in person with my teammates, I stayed involved and contributed online. I helped with the preparing of the prototype by working in Figma to make some of the pages interactive. I also kept a constant online communication with my teammates through Whatsapp to ensure that if they need my help I would be able to contribute.

Reflection:
Through the UX project learned the importance of basing design decisions on research and user feedback. One lesson I learned is that even if I’m not physically present for a group session or presentation, my responsibility to contribute doesn’t stop. Working effectively online and supporting the team remotely is just as important, especially in group projects. In the future, if happens for me to not be able to attend a presentation for a teamwork, I would make sure to contribute even more and take more tasks.
